This build is very broken (Setup) like 4005 but with a few fixes you can get it working, new WinPE, same logon screen as 3XXX builds, Desktop composition can be enabled. The sidebar is a bit unstable, it always crashes when you change the resolution of the screen, apart from that, it seems a fast build and not really buggy/unstable.

New explorer icon. An earlier Aero Wizard prototype is available on the new ‘CD Writing Wizard’. This build is very similar to 4029 but faster than 4039. 3D View available. Longhorn ‘Pig Latin’ is present on this build too.

Stable and fast (when you disable some useless stuff) build, Includes WMP10 and IE7. New Games (Vista Games) and some hidden stuff like Movie Maker and Windows Photo Library. Glass and effects on this build are buggy.
This build does not present any noticeable features except some improvements on Internet Explorer. It’s fast and stable. Windows Media Player 9 and Internet Explorer 6 are included on this build. Similar to 4053.

Fast but not really stable. Also, some drivers that are working on other Longhorn builds aren’t working on this build. The “ribbon” of this build are a bit messed up as you can see on the image.

Much similar to 3683 except because it’s faster (some sidebar problems are fixed), however, the sidebar on this build still buggy and also can be only enabled with the taskbar merged, no way to have the taskbar separated from it. Apart from that, seems a stable build like other Milestone 3 builds. 3683′s Prototypes are removed on this build.

It have a new start menu (with transparency and integrated search), control panel reorganized with more categories, Aero with Glass support. Includes IE6 and WMP10. Does not seems really fast, also, search function is not working sometimes.
For enable Glass, open Command Prompt and type: rundll32.exe C:/Windows/System32/udwm.dll DwmClientStartup
